We went to Totoro's forest. Mr. Kazuo Oga who drew the background scenery for Tonari no Totoro
is from Kakunodate High School. We felt quite at home surrounded by the forest, fields and farm houses
that appeared in Tonarino Totoro^_^

Go visit the Youtube and see all of them saying hi to my camera. July 21, on the morning of the departure at Ikebukuro Station waiting for 10:33 Narita Express. Everyone looks so tired from unbearable heat and humidity but contented ^_^ I asked each one for one word. July of Japan is not the best season for traveling in Japan. Even Nikko was not much appreciated this time... We did not want to walk any further in the heat...

このボタンでしまる式のファイルのバッグ（実物をあげちゃったので想像図を用意しました。）はプラスチックでできていて大学ノートが
ゆっくり入るくらいのサイズです。このハローキティのファイルをたくさん探しています。

先月半ばにサンディエゴで大きな火災がありました。私の教えているカレッジおよびカリフォルニア州立大学(秋学期のみヘルプしています)
の学校区ではたくさんの学生や教職員が被害にあっています。家を焼かれた人、車を焼かれて無くなってしまった知り合い学生もかな
りの人数になります。物的な被害だけのみならず心を病んでしまった女子もおり、まだ授業に出てくることができません。いろいな
募金も学内で行われています。年齢が同じくらいで近しい同僚の家もなくなりました。いつもお世話になっているカイロプラクターの
マッサージセラピストの女性の家の倉庫にある家具一式がすべて燃えてしまいました。家を自分の「手」でご主人と建て終わったば
かりだったのを知っているので本当にお気の毒です。

今回の災害に関しては 募金はいたるところで静かに行われていますが、私は学生を元気づけるために、Mitsuwaマーケットでみつけ
たファイル小物いれを、亡くなった同僚のために助っ人として来て教えている３クラスの学生に買ってあげることにしました。１パッ
ク４ドル弱ですが、日本で買えばもっと安いでしょうか。 大人も子供もハリウッドの女優もハローキティーが大好きです。学生に笑顔が
戻りつつあります。

問題がひとつあります。実はハローキティーがこれほど人気があるとは知りませんでした。男子も女子も大好きです。ミツワのお店に
はハロキティーの小さな専門店ががひとつあります。そこでこのファイルを１４個みつけました。これでは足りませんが、「またはい
りますからそのときには連絡します」という声を聞き、とりあえずその１４個をかってお店をでました。次の日学校にいって学生たちに
あげました。大喜び！です。あとはすぐ来ますから、もらえなかった人は待っていてくださいね、 といったのですが、一週間たって問い
合わせたところ、このファイルフォールダは絶版になっているということでした。次の出荷の予定は全くなし、なのです。希少
価値のあるファイルを後生大事に抱えて毎日ニコニコしながらクラスに来ます：）可愛いですね。

そうこうしているうちに学期が終わるまでもう一ヶ月弱になってしまいました。大至急、このはろーきてぃのフォルダーを探して、欲しい
学生にあげたいのですが、みなさんのお力をお借りできないでしょうか。いただきたい情報は、どこのお店で売っているのかということな
のです。探していただける方があれば、あるいは探していただけたるようでしたらぜひご連絡いただけないでしょうか。そのうえで、こ
ちらからそのお店とコンタクトを至急とりたいと思っています。 ご協力いただけるとうれしいです。 ご連絡お待ちしています。
